A contractor built around the operations it serves.
Founded in 2007 in Concord, RADSB is a family-operated industrial builder. We started with one dock leveler and a pickup truck; today we run self-performing crews across Northern California.

Our story
Jacky Shaw spent the first twelve years of his career as a millwright in food-distribution plants between Stockton and Oakland. He kept seeing the same pattern: docks designed for trailers that no longer existed, mezzanines bolted around obstacles instead of operations, and contractors who disappeared once the punch list was signed.
RADSB was started in 2007 to be the contractor he wished he'd had. We bid on the work we know we can self-perform. We stay involved through warranty. And we leave behind facilities that work better than they did when we arrived — measured in cycle times, not just square footage.
How we operate
Field crews are W-2 employees with benefits and a clear career ladder. Project managers carry no more than six active jobs so they can stay on the phone with you. Engineering is stamped before mobilization. Pricing is fixed and line-itemed.
We carry CSLB Class B (General Building) and C-51 (Structural Steel) certifications, current general liability and workers' comp, and issue COIs with additional insured endorsements before stepping on site.
